Welcome to the John Barron State Farm Agency. I have been serving State Farm customers since 1995, and established my own Agency in 2002. My team and I have received many company and industry awards for developing solid relationships over the years, and would love the opportunity to help YOU!

While my physical office is located in Alvin and we are well informed on the requirements of coastal insurance coverage, we are experienced to help anywhere within Texas. We are ready to help with your auto, home, life, health, business insurance needs and financial services needs if you are relocating to our area or are just looking for alternative options. As a big believer in community involvement, I’ve served and continue to serve in many organizations such as the Alvin ISD Education Foundation, the Alvin Lions Club, and the Alvin-Manvel Area Chamber of Commerce. Additionally, I support many youth organizations throughout the community. In 2016, I was inducted into the Brazoria County Business Hall of Fame by Junior Achievement. In 2008, I was presented the Leader of the Year Award by the Chamber. In 2007, I was honored with the Lion of the Year Award by the Alvin Lions Club.

I’m the father to 2 beautiful girls and husband to my lovely wife Charity. We enjoy traveling, spending time outdoors, and love listening to live music. And if you visit my office, you’ll see that I'm a sports nut.
